Riverside Motors buys Harratts Honda dealership in Wakefield


Yorkshire-based Riverside Motor Group acquired the Harratts Group Honda site in Calder Park Wakefield for an undisclosed amount.

The agreement includes Harratts’ Honda dealership and assets in Calder Park, its Kia showroom and a lease of premises in Darton, Barnsley for a period of 10 years.

Riverside will represent Honda for Wakefield and Barnsley and the Honda dealership will continue to operate out of Calder Park in Wakefield. Riverside retains all existing staff.

Riverside, which already represents Volvo, SEAT, Cupra and Mitsubishi, is ranked 88 in the Top 200 Motor Trader dealer groups with an annual turnover of £ 168.6million. He trades from sites located in Doncaster, Wakefield and Hull
