The new Honda HR-V is a new alternative to hybrid SUVs like the Ford Kuga, Peugeot 2008 and Mazda CX-30. It’s on sale now and costs from Â£ 26,960.

The new Honda HR-V hybrid costs from Â£ 26,960. Entry-level models come in an âEleganceâ trim, which includes standard LED headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels and heated front seats. Next up is the Â£ 29,210 Advance trim, which adds an electronically open and close trunk lid, heated steering wheel and leatherette interior trim.
Pick an ‘Advance Style’ model for Â£ 31,660 and you also get an upgraded stereo, orange interior trim, and two-tone exterior paint. The new HR-V is now on sale and the first UK deliveries are expected in late 2021.
Design 2022 Honda HR-V
The Honda HR-V received an all-new design, which would be inspired by the two-door coupes. Up front, a large, body-colored grille sits in a rather simplistic bumper topped with thin LED headlights.
A sloping roofline falls into a small roof spoiler and a rear end that is as minimalist as the front. There is an LED light bar that spans the width of the car between two stylish brake lights.

The new Honda HR-V will come standard with a hybrid engine, much like the last Honda Jazz.
In fact, it uses the same configuration as the Jazz. This sees a 1.5-liter gasoline engine paired with a pair of electric motors that produce a total of 131 hp and 253 Nm of torque.
The new HR-V is not a plug-in hybrid, but the car’s gasoline engine acts as an on-board generator for the electric motors and the trunk-mounted battery. The HR-V’s computers can automatically decide whether to run on electricity, gasoline, or a mixture of the two.
The Honda HR-V sends its power through a CVT gearbox, which operates like an automatic albeit with only one “gear” – instead, constantly adjusting gear ratios to keep the engine at its highest speed. effective. There is no option for a manual gearbox.
Honda says the HR-V will be capable of 0-60 mph in 10.6 seconds, while hitting 52.3 mpg. Emissions of 122g / km of CO2 would be produced.
Interior and practicality of the Honda HR-V 2022
Much like its exterior, the interior of the new Honda HR-V is simple and pragmatic in its design. It’s apparently just as roomy as the old car due to a few packaging tricks, and its fairly clean layout should give it a more airy feel as well.
There’s a dash-mounted 9-inch LCD infotainment system, along with new software that Honda says is more responsive than the outgoing HR-V’s touchscreen. It also comes with wireless Apple CarPlay, although you still need a cable to use Android Auto.
There is also a 7 inch screen in the dials which can show safety assistance information alongside your current speed.
Honda’s iconic cinema-style âmagic seatsâ in the rear can be flipped up to give the HR-V a little more trunk space.
New Honda HR-V Safety Technology
Honda’s âSensingâ safety technology package comes on the new HR-V. This provides a system capable of detecting pedestrians and stepping aside to avoid hitting them, as well as automatic emergency braking.
Adaptive cruise control is also offered, as well as blind spot monitoring and hill descent control.
