GLENVILLE, NY – Mohawk Honda recently provided a three-year rental vehicle for free to the Ronald McDonald Houses Charity in the Capital Region. The organization picked up the van from the Glenville dealership.

Since 1982, Ronald McDonald House in Albany has served over 17,000 families and provides a free home-away-from-home to families with children facing serious medical problems. Ronald McDonald Houses in the Capital Region will use the van to support the organization’s core programs – the Ronald McDonald House, the Ronald McDonald Family Room and the brand new Ronald McDonald Family Retreat at the Krantz Cabin in Lake George. In addition to transporting essential supplies between program locations, the van will allow the organization to provide transportation to invited families.

“This Mohawk Honda van represents the world to us,” said David Jacobsen, CEO of Ronald McDonald Houses in the Capital Region. “This will help us serve families with children facing serious illness and injury, ensuring they can get to where they need to go and have all the supplies they need to stay focused on what they need to do.” that matters most – the health of their child. “

Mohawk Honda Assistant General Manager Greg Johnson says this is just one way the dealership continues to support community partners.

“Ronald McDonald House provides much-needed support to families in the Capital Region who are going through the unthinkable,” said Greg Johnson. “As a family business, this is just one way to show our support for other families. “
