Honda may not be known for offering the biggest discounts, but there are discounts if you know where to look. If you’re a current Honda customer, you may be eligible for a loyalty rebate on your next Honda car, truck or SUV. However, there are a few important details to know if you want to get the best deal.
Honda Financial Services is offering an HFS loyalty offer worth $500 off the price of nearly all 2022 model year vehicles, including the redesigned Honda Civic. According to a dealer incentive newsletter, the loyalty rebate is available to “any current eligible Honda owner” off the price of a new vehicle lease.
In terms of how it works, the Loyalty Lease Offer acts as a capitalized cost reduction, or capped cost reduction, to help reduce the price of a lease. It’s a discount you can’t get when buying a Honda and doesn’t require a trade-in. Even better, you can combine the discount with promotional rental rates and other incentives.
In the case of the 2022 Civic LX, the extra $500 in manufacturer lease cash can reduce the cost of a lease from $219 for 36 months with $3,599 due at signing to just $209 with $3,399 at Signature. When comparing actual monthly rental costs, that’s a price cut from $319 per month to $303, a nice bonus to be fair.
It might not always be obvious, but discounts like these can actually be transferred between members of the same household. Therefore, just having a Honda in your garage could qualify you for an additional $500 off. We recommend that you contact your Honda dealership to confirm the actual rental prices available near you.
Not coming from another lease? There may be other options available. For example, the Honda Pilot offers a more generous loyalty discount when purchased or leased. If you plan to purchase your driver now, the $1,000 incentive can also be combined with financing offers like 0.9% APR for up to 48 months.
